TWNT was created in 2008 by our five founding fathers - Matthew Fiedler, William Joseph Frye, Sir Kevin Yaeger, John "Bulbasaur" Cebula, and Samuel Parr. These early visionaries wanted to share with the world that despite being a track team without a track, Belmont University Track & Field athletes could still achieve success with hard work and a rugged determination. Even while being ousted from facility to facility, this extraordinary group found a way to boost camaraderie and celebrate each teammate's accomplishments on and off the track (or lack thereof).

As is the way of the world, most of the founding group has since graduated and moved on with their life. We, as the current Belmont T&F team, decided it would be an immeasurable loss to forever lose the accomplishments of TWNT to the winds of time. Instead, we hope to dust off the old name and continue our founding fathers' efforts, though through slight alteration in course.

In 2011, Belmont University athletics was blessed with the addition of the facility at Rose Park, which included a state-of-the-art track with all the field trimmings. This addition has now, at long last, given Belmont University a track, causing us to keep the name "Track With No Track" for tradition's sake only. However, it is still our dearest longing that you find our efforts entertaining and continue to support your Belmont University Track & Field team through our season!
